Cwm Taf People First
Adults with disabilities can feel like they don’t have a voice.
Cwm Taf People First helps them be heard. Giving them confidence, choice and control over their lives. Members have told them that public transport is a barrier to vulnerable people. Thanks to Mab Gwalia, they’re working to find solutions to this problem, be that easy-to-read timetables, improving the physical access to buses, working to address bullying on public transport and more.
Like at the Parish Church Memorial Garden. You’ll find them putting down new pathways, cutting grass, renewing benches and cleaning memorial stones. One day they’d like to grow their own vegetables and make them available to anyone who needs them. Mab Gwalia is helping fund those materials. Direct action that helps the whole community.
