Rhyl might be infamous for the Sun Centre but it’s the people at this small charity who are helping make the seaside town brighter.
Their hub on Wellington Road comes alive every day as people come together to learn skills, share resources and expertise. Activities are available for everyone in society: older people, young people, those with disabilities, parents, anyone in need of overcoming loneliness and isolation. You’ll find free school uniforms, period products, groups to help make mental health easier. Mab Gwalia is helping fund up to 100 meals a day alongside training on food hygiene and cost-effective meal prep with practical support such as free slow cookers.
